Background: Ron Bader is in an excellent position to assist you and your company with any part, or all of your product development process. He has over twenty-seven years of extremely broad based experience in the analysis, design, and development of multi-disciplinary systems from feasibility through pilot production. He has a proven track record as both a successful technical contributor and project manager. Ron has the ability to master new technologies quickly, interfaces effectively with diverse groups of individuals, and is especially effective at organizing troubled projects, turning them around and getting them back on track.

Prior to founding Bader Engineering in 1981, he worked as a founding employee of Compression Labs, Inc., a world leader in Data Compression and Video Teleconferencing technologies. At CLI he held various positions as Manager, Design Engineering; Chief Engineer; and Project Engineer. Ron holds a M.S. in Engineering (with a dual major in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science) from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a B.S. in Engineering Sciences with Highest Honors, and A.A.S. in Electronics Technology both from the City University of New York.

Ron’s active involvement in the consulting and professional communities has allowed him to develop close working relationships with an extensive network of highly skilled and diverse professionals. These associations enable him to supplement his own technical and business skills in many other areas, building project teams that can handle complex projects of a multi-disciplinary nature. Ron is past President and Chairman of the Board, and presently Vice President, Member of the Board, and Senior Member of the Professional and Technical Consultants Association (PATCA). He is a past member of the Board of Governors of the Affiliation of Professional Consulting Organizations (APCO), a past Member of the Board of the Computer Software Industry Association (CSIA), an Honorary Certified Member of the National Bureau of Certified Management Consultants, a Senior member of the IEEE, and a member and past Vice-Chairman of the IEEE Consultants Network of Silicon Valley.

Among other awards and honors, Ron is a co-recipient for three patents for a Dual Mode Facsimile Compression System, a High Speed Character Template Matching System, and a Spring Grounding Clip for Computer Peripheral (PCMCIA) Cards. As a student, he earned his undergraduate Engineering degree with highest honors, was the recipient of the IEEE Outstanding Leadership and Service Award, and was awarded (but declined) a Hughes fellowship.

Ron's clients are diverse in size, geographic location and the industries they represent. They range in size from prestigious global corporations to small startups. They are located geographically from one end of the United States to another in places such as Anchorage, Alaska; Dallas, Texas; Washington, DC and Silicon Valley just outside his home base in Boulder Creek, California. Some of the industries among others his clients compete in are medical equipment, personal computers, telecommunications equipment, automatic test equipment, and semiconductor capital equipment.
